restoration takes thousands of committed people and organizations working
patiently over decades to carry out hundreds of initiatives. Volunteers
from all walks of life helped design our action plan. Legislators,
admirals, heads of businesses and heads of households, environmental
groups and school children are helping put the plan into broad community
action. Together, we're seeing results.
The Elizabeth River Project works with
partners to voluntarily prevent future pollution, reduce existing
pollution and create wildlife habitat. For a complete description of
