You can often spot Kenn Jolemore, musician and
photographer, stalking the streets of Lafayette-Winona neighborhoods,
tripod over his shoulder and gaze aimed upward for bird life.
"My main interest is the condition of the wildlife, waterways and
wetlands of the Tidewater area," he says. "By photographing the birds
and mammals along the rivers and keeping track of who is doing well and
who is not, I feel I am contributing to the overall knowledge of the
health of our waterways."
Jolemore describes himself as a "long time married musician and
photographer living in Norfolk, Virginia with three grown children and
four grandkids, all living locally. My wife, Nancy, is a professor at
Tidewater Community College, Norfolk Campus, where she teaches writing."
Kenn lets us "tag
along" with him, enjoying his photos and commentary through his blog
