This recreational boat repair yard invented a
way to filter one of its largest potential sources of pollution to
Scotts Creek -- runoff from pressure washing hulls. Four years in the
making, the design concludes with a decorative fountain. It starts with
capturing barnacles and paint chips in a trough where pads absorb oil.
Filtering includes two settling tanks, a rock feature and the last
retention basin - the fountain. |
