NEW ‘O7 -Model Level since 2003, the oldest
naval shipyard in the US continues to play a major role in the
community-wide restoration of Paradise Creek. New results: the yard
completed another phase of a project to transform formerly contaminated
landfills into a wildlife mecca, completing a 3.5 acre wetland and
buffer restoration with 114,989 grasses and shrubs. P2 included reducing
paint waste by 60,000 lbs. with “Just In Time” paint procurement. |
