SIMS, a scrap metal yard at Money Point in Chesapeake, enhanced a critical buffer to absorb runoff between wetlands and the scrap yard, by planting 48 native trees and shrubs along Milldam Creek on the Southern Branch as part of the efforts of the Money Point Revitalization Task Force.
