| Innovative Port Goes Green...Virginia Port Authority is participating in a national program to develop an Environmental Management System to reduce environmental impacts in all port operations. The port purchased and restored Plum Park, a large open area downtown, as an innovative mitigation project. The 5-acre park and 1-acre wetland is the centerpiece for the Elizabeth River Trail. |
