Swampfest Fun...In 2004, Tidewater Skanska enhanced their riparian buffer with a no mow zone and butterfly/hummingbird garden. At "Swampfest," employee volunteers picked up 3,000 pounds of trash from the wetland and buffer. Skanska began using secondary containment on 55 gallon drums which are portable and even have protection under the spout. Skanska also trained more than 600 employees as part of their ISO 14001 certification.
