Hampton Roads First Green Roof...The Atlantic Building in downtown Norfolk is now home to the area's first "green roof." The 4,000 square foot environmentally friendly roof is planted to treat and reduce stormwater runoff, reduce heating and cooling costs, reduce heat island effect, improve air quality and extend the life of the roof.
