| About 20 enthusiastic
volunteers were joined by Elizabeth River Project staff members and, as you
can see from the photos in this slide, a good time was had by all.
Along with removing debris and undesirable
plants, volunteers installed new plants that are environmentally appropriate
for the area. These plants will filter runoff and help make Paradise Creek
clean and healthy. Not a bad day's work, but don't tell these guys. They
think they're just having fun!
If you missed it, be sure and watch our
calendar for future Rain Garden Cleanups.
