Lawrence A. Bernert is a principal
and portfolio manager at Wilbanks, Smith and Thomas Asset Management. Mr.
Bernert serves on the Economic Development Authority for the City of
Norfolk, the Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters development Advisory
Committee, and the Economics Club of Hampton Roads Board. He is president
elect of the Norfolk Academy Alumni Association.
Kirkland T. Clarkson
is a Norfolk civic leader. Mrs. Clarkson serves on the President's Council
for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and former civic roles have included
president of the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach, chairman of
Citizens Against the Refinery's Effects, and conservation chairman for the
Garden Club of Virginia.
Debbie Ritter
is a former member of the Chesapeake City Council. A two-term member of the
Council, Mrs. Ritter's leadership in the community has also included service
on the Board of Trustees. great Bridge Battlefield and Waterways History
Foundation: Board of Directors, Women's Division, Hampton Roads Chamber of
Commerce Chesapeake; Executive Board, Virginia Coalition of High Growth
Localities; Executive Board, Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia; Vice
Chairman, VML Transportation Policy Committee.
